AUTOMATIC SLUDGE-DRAINING FILTER
A. AUTOMATIC SLUDGE-DRAINING FILTER GENERAL
Model GPG filter can be used for industrial cooling with low-quality water and also for the other technological processes requiring filtering. It features by the function to get rid of foreign matters by way of rinse reversely and is generally mounted before a heat exchanger or other executive mechanism for the periodic rinse and foreign matters' removal.
B. AUTOMATIC SLUDGE-DRAINING FILTER FEATURES
- Model GPG-L filter can work normally under the full flow, which means to keep a high-speed flow to lower the pressure, preventing of the surface dirt due to low flow-rate.
- It is mounted directly in the pipe network system, no need of any support structure.
- Saving space.
- Rinsing and draining sludge automatically, installing a by-pass.
C. AUTOMATIC SLUDGE-DRAINING FILTER WORKING PRINCIPLES
In the normal conditions, the steering valve opens and the water flow is drained out from the exit after being filtered through the filter barrel. When the sludge valve opens, the total flow of the liquid passed through the filter increases and the flow-rate enlarges to have the foreign matters adhered on the pipe wall of the filter. It is impacted and then drained out from the sludge exit. When the steering valve closes and the sludge valve is opened, the water flow is forced to go into the outside of the filter barrel from the screen holes on the inlet section of the barrel, most of which flows out of the exit and the residual portion goes into the filter barrel via the screen holes. And the foreign matters collected section from outside of the barrel to form the reversed rinse onto the filter barrel to get the effect to rinse the foreign matters attached on the screen holes from outside of the filer barrel, the foreign matters are still drained out through the sludge exit.
